can't enter swirling vortex

So, I eat everything on the very first level, but now I'm getting pointed to enter the swirling vortex, as there is nothing else to eat, yet I can't seem to enter it. I'm I missing something?

also the mini map in the options, I don't see a toggle for that? ( I mean when in the game, I don't see the mini map unless I'm suppose to press a button?

sorry should have said, windows, seems to have fixed it, as when I used the controller, the vortex disapeared and I can continue, but before that I was using the mouse, and it wouldn't let me do anything when I was in the vortex. still have no idea what this mini map is, as none of the buttons do anything.

Minimap is minimap :D. It shuld be on. Will be very useful later.

I see the minimap now, but wasn't clear as first as I thought it was the background.

just done the second level, and having problems entering the swirling vortex again.

also atl tabing seems to kill the music.

ok you use the left and right shoulder buttons on the controller to go through the vortex, the only problem is, it doesn't tell you what level you are on, or what button is used to avance to the next level, or there is no visual indecation on what level you are on.

You can use "R" button at keybord or scroll wheel at mouse.

well, when using the mouse, neither the R button or the scroll wheel does anything.

using the scroll wheel or pressing it does nothing. just checked all my keyboard buttons, no effect in entering the vortex.

This problem may occur if you have pad connected but you're using keyboard/mouse

In my play, mouse scroll doesn't work, but "R" works just fine (only one way, i suppose). And Alt+tab kills music too.

can you map it to right mouse button instead or something? because if you start anew pressing 'R' is basically the last thing that comes to mind and only after wondering for 20 mins if you have missed something :( game looks gorgeous though

so we are meant to press the mouse button, when there is nothing left to do on the level, I find this silly since there is nothing telling me to do so. And i only hear it from a dev after looking at a post.

Please put this info into the game so others do not come back trying to understand what the game is meant to do as you progress.

I was about to ask the very same thing as these people what happens when vortex ? oh well..
