This one looks one-dimensional, squashed, bland and boring, and doesn't looks like there's anything worth exploring only to be met with the same color everywhere.
Not saying that is a bad game, just that it doesn't have the same awe feeling that first one had.
Isn't any possibility to "restore" the color somehow? Maybe with some DLC like matthew suggested?
No there is no DLC for color version :-).
Also I don't like blur and chromatic aberration effects (they cause motion sickness) and there is no way to turn it off completely. (Not sure what "Tilt blur" change, all cubes and other objects are still blurred, even if you uncheck it from options menu)
Those effects used way too often to hide lack of details in many recent games, too overflowing to make everyone to be fed up with them. They does not give 'classy' or 'realistic camera effects' feeling as it may be intended, they give 'cheap' look. (well, they can give 'realistic camera effects' feeling, but it requires much more accurate work, than blunt applying).
