CONTACT SABER FOR SUPPORT INVOLVING GAME'S CRASHING AT START ISSUE
Hey guys,
It seems New World Interactive was acquired by Saber Interactive. So you need to file a request in their website: https://support.saber.games/hc/en-us/requests/new
I just submitted a request for support regarding this unfortunate issue that makes the game crash and the computer to reboot when starting it, possibly due to the Windows update to Version 24H2. Everyone should do it until it is fixed. It's a great game with a nice community and deserves care!

Not until today, no. But if many people do it, who knows!?

Actually, they answered 3 days ago and I didn't see it. Here's the unfortunate answer:

Saber isn't doing anything at all about legacy titles of studios they acquired, they pretty much leave them to rot.

Nice to know the troubleshooting steps I created are still there, however outdated they are.

As for the issue, Microsoft would rather have you using literal malware masked as an AI instead of admitting that their recent security changes broke a lot of stuff for no good reason
Sadly BattlEye does not have any self-update mechanism unlike EAC so it's quite bad for legacy titles with older BE revisions.
