Silencer for Sten

I came across this, looks like a WIP for DOI when it was just a mod.

Would be nice to have this add on for brits, but make it 5 points to have the silencer. To balance it, firing the weapon too much could overheat it, like in RTCW.

No they don't.
Asymmetrical warfare.

Just cos one side has ninja peashooter (remember what I said about the De Lisle and Sten Mk II-S having ♥♥♥♥ calibres) doesn't mean that you need to make peashooters for everyone.

The US gets the M1 Garand and the Germans the G43. Good luck trying to dig up a semi-automatic battle rifle used by the British during WWII, you will not find one.

That speed is not represented well in this game nor is the technique to do it when compared to other bolt-actions in the game.

Yes I know what you mean, I think thousands and thousands were sprayed in the jungle just per 1 kill statistically, I read a million rounds somewhere but that must be exageration.

Suppressed German weapons existed, but they are mere prototypes, rarer than babies born with golden nuts, and DEFINITELY not issued to standard troops. Not to mention they probably didn't work as well as they do now.

Well I guess I sounded too angsty (cos I can't tone down my objection) but I still wish this game goes the RO2 path instead of BF1 in terms of arsenal.

RO2 = ww2, BF1 = ww1, what about these games were similar in terms of weapons besides the lewis and c96?

Cos RO2 had a pretty much authentic arsenal, and BF1 had one with every rare prototype they could find.

I'd reference BF1942 but I wasn't sure if their arsenal was as diverse.

Nice find, we also did have plans for the De Lisle in the mod, however please consider concepts from the mod may not make it into standalone.

Thank you very much for sharing these, very nice.

I do feel we should have things in this great game that people can't get it anywhere else. The fact this game actually has a welrod, british soliders with shoguns ect is very nice.
