PPK pistol or Luger?
Also why does the Luger cost more?

Cos it's an officer gun and does more damage. The PPK fires a ridiculously small round.

Ah I see, but which weapon do you think is better for Sniper class? Kar98 or Gewehr43, I have grown tired of STG44s, so Im looking for alternatives.

The PPK pistol fires an 9mm round, as does the Luger. The difference is that the P08 is an officer's pistol, and is more accurate and reliable, but slower to reload, and due to the toggle lock system the Luger uses, slightly harder to aim down sights accuratly during rapid fire.

The PPK fires 7.65mm (.32 ACP).

It could fire .32 ACP, 9mm Short and 7.65mm Browning. I assume the weapon in game would use 9mm Short as 9mm rounds were more common in the German army.

I might be late but G43 ftw. When I play as sniper, I just have 7x G43 + heavy armor. I normally use this set up for Bastogne missions, where I don't have to worry about close range encounters.

Sure enough, the PPK fires the 9mm in the game, so IDK what it does differently than the P08 as they both do the same base damage.

The PPK is not chambered in 9x19mm like the Luger is, there is more to a cartridge than the bullet diameter. The PPK in WWII was chambered in 7.65x17mm.

Theres something cool about using the ppk and getting a few cheeky kills with it.

I don't even know if there's a major difference between them. Real life calibers does not apply here, remenber how in :ins: both M9 and Makarov had the same damage stat and both in real life had different rounds.

It has the same ammo type and same base damage as the P08 and P38 so it's not firing the .32 round, although in the game it says it's using the 9x18mm so it's likely a placeholder.
