No longer working on MacOS 10.13 (High Sierra)

Since installing 10.13, DoI no longer enters into the game map, but instead crashes to desktop with an OpenGL error message. Doesn't matter if its Co-op, Multiplayer or Practice.

For some reason only the shooting range appears to work - go figure.

Had the graphic settings turned to off/low on everything and made no difference.


Anyone else have similar issues on MacOS?

This is why I'm always sceptical of updating the OS. It's always too much risk for little gain.

When my last work machine died my insurance replaced it with a new one with El Capitan. Then my DAW Logic Pro 9 wouldn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ work, even after installing all six discs. Got a copy of logic X only to find half of my 3rd party plugins didn't work since they were 32bit and logic X only supports 64 bit, yet logic 9 had 32bit with a 64bit bridge so could do both...

Don't even start on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mavericks. I stayed on snow leopard for 5 years for a reason.

My game is fine, however hopefully you guys get this sorted soon, it's a cracker of a game. Good luck lads

An update was released to public beta branch for those who want to help us with testing.

Simply go to your Steam client > Library > Right-click on Day of Infamy > Properties > Betas and choose "Beta" branch from the drop down menu and hit apply, no password key is needed.

There are no servers available currently as they are only spun up when needed, you may still test practice mode.

Well that may be a good thing, but these crashes are all commented as loading normal maps, but not custom ones, so it's past original and in your map loading code. Hope you find this helpful.

Thanks Arc, however for me this beta version doesn't even start up let alone allow me to access the practice area. The small exec window appear briefly on the Dock and the menu listing in Steam states 'running' then the window disappears and the game listing in steam returns to normal.


Returning back to the original game, I'm at least able to access the main menu.

yes, its still not fixed. and i don't see it being fixed until 2018 because theyre working on sandstorm...
