Why no semi auto on sten?
Historically, both variants of the sten gun were select fire, operated by a button ahead of the trigger. Why does the thompson have it, but not the sten?

+1 I didn't think it had select fire because it was awful, but I looked it up and you're right ;D

It seems strange that a gun that was designed to be as cheap as possibe would waste materials on such a useless feature.

Yeah I don't know, but nevertheless, semi-auto should be added in game.

Yup, semi-auto on Thompson is useless and there it is.

I don't believe there was a firemode selector on Sten guns. The rate of fire is low anyways, so it's easy to control.

Given how cheap the Sten was, the fire selector rarely worked. Plus why do we need it? No one ever uses semi auto on SMGs.

Only the French sten had semi auto and that was from a secondary trigger. We use a MK2 and an MK5 in DOI.

Will Sten Mk.2 get a canadian stock? I know it's in the files already, so why it's not in the game?

Might actually be an unlockable cosmetic upgrade...

Hickok45's youtube video on the British mk II sten clearly shows him using it in semi auto, and switching to full auto using the button.

Still doesn't mean it's nesscary. In fact I think most wartime Stens had the fire selector welded to full auto.
