Bug... or just me being bad at video games?

I'm having trouble with one of the beginning few portions of the game.

In the section where you are first introduced to using Vortexes to hurl boulders, you're supposed to throw a boulder to break a rock wall in order to progress. However, hurling the boulder does absolutely nothing. The rock wall is impossible to maneuver around (I tried wind-jumping over the rock formation above to no avail), and the Vortex and boulder maneuver does literally nothing. This prevents me from getting to the next area to progress.

As you can see, the Youtuber has the same issue as me: the rock wall is different in the PC Steam port and will not budge, despite using Vortex on the boulder.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Is there some other way around this obstacle for the PC port? Is this a glitch with my game, or just how the PC port is designed?

I realise this is a month late but for what it's worth I'm pretty sure I know what the issue is -- the PC gamer in that video (and you, presumably) are trying to use the left mouse button to create the Vortex, when that move is done with the RIGHT mouse button. Using the left mouse button is for gusting, so while making a big circle kind of looks like you're accomlishing something, that's not actually the move you want. It's not obvious when the move is taught to you, I had the same issue playing the PC port of Lost Winds 1 and it took me a little bit to figure out what I was doing wrong.

Seems very buugy as well, as it's working a bit when it wants...
