stuck

Just bought the game, I have the issue of the game starting normally but the moment I am in the cage, I can't move or do anythign at all.
I restarted, reinstalled, checked game files and nothing, even changed the keybinds.
please help ;-;

same here, someone said that if you run the game in windowed mode it should be fixed but it didnt for me

I already asked for a refund, too bad I love jazz and only the beginning had me hooked because of the soundtrack.
Can't fix it then it's unplayable :\

i've tried windowed mode, deleting my save folder, uninstalling, k+m vs controller, and the only way i could get it to work is hitting alt+enter to buffer the game. in the end, google has a free copy that works seemlessly that is incompatible with steam.

hey just to clarify, is it controller as well as keyboard and mouse that aren't working for you?

same thing here its as if my movement is 4 frames per second but the actual game looks to be running just fine, might get a refund idk

hey i just put up a dev build that may help diagnose the problem: it's on a hidden beta branch, the password is "gabeisverysorry". Right click the game, click properties, betas, enter the code there. can you tell me if any red text appears on the screen for you when you try to play? also it would be useful to see the log file located at C:\Users\<USERNAM>\AppData\LocalLow\Gabe Cuzzillo\ApeOut\Player.log

Hi, I am very glad this has reached to you the dev team :)
unfortunately I wasn't focused on these last few days and couldn't really help you guys with what you wanted (the clips) and I already received the refund :/

what I can say is the issue is the same as aforementioned even with the controller in hand.
The ape is stuck in the cage, no reaction from the controller or my keyboard, the guards have a smooth animation which indicated that the game ran just not reacting to my controls whatsoever.

I am sincerely glad you guys are paying attention to comments on your games and hope this will be fixed for future players (who love jazz)

Hi, I just tried the secret beta and it still does not work, im stuck in the cage unable to move unless i spam alt+enter, its the same as it was in the official build and I tried it with keyboard and mouse and with a ps4 controller too. Also no red text showed on my screen when I tried to play, the only notable difference was the small "developer build" text in the bottom right corner of the game and that was it.

I have same issue (no input) but windowed mode works.
