Not Dire Wolf (In my opinion)

The man who sends us on our quest for stories is described as a wolf, and called Dire Wolf. But, in my opinion, it sounds more like the creature might actually be Coyote from native American myth. This kind of task seams like the kind of thing he'd have someone do. Granted I only just started the game, but I thought I'd share my thoughts.
