Easy anti cheat is not installed, multiplayer will be disabled

Is anyone else getting this error?

- Reinstalling EAC via installation .exe in the EAC folder doesn't work. Tried many variations (repair, uninstall, restarting between, etc...).
- All the fixes I can find online don't work.
- No mods installed, tried reinstalling twice.

Ended up refunding and playing on gamepass, works perfectly there. Not sure what caused this.

Well just install it manually. Its setup should be in the EasyAntiCheat subfolder.

I just fixed it by running the UbisoftConnectInstaller.exe in the game directory

Thank you for responding, wasn't expecting support to chime in!

This is addressed in the OP. It doesn't work for a lot of people. Something is broken for some players. I've seen a lot of posts online saying the same thing.

Can you guys check if installing all the SSL certificates from this page fixes the issue?

I installed all of these (both to the local machine and user when it prompts you to choose) and then ran the ubisoftconnectinstaller.exe in the game directory and it fixed the issue for me

I can access the multiplayer menu now. Also make sure you dont have any mods installed.

why do you even play online? too many cheat, I even had those on bounties and I kill them , they get back up & kills me, or I get their car to blow up, and see them get out and kills me, I quit on online b/s

What about that solution from the post above yours?
Run Ubisoft Connect as administrator and install the game from the UC.
It should install all required software components automatically.
