Am I the only person who liked WD1 and is looking forward to the sequel?

I agree that Aiden was a dull protagoinist, but Marcus seems to have some sort of personality. I'm excited to see what the next game will bring.

WD1 was not what it could have been but was a good game concept, a lot of games start like this to test out the concept
i liked WD and when the stuff in the trailer is just near the result we get it could be one of the grafic highlights of the century
i hope we get what the trailer promiss

The game had it's flaws, but I actually really liked it. I didn't get hit with any of the bugs people complained about other than some framerate issues. The downgrade of graphics wasn't cool, but people largely patched it to look great. Lots of games had the same issue. Dark Souls and Witcher among them.

Day 1 pre-order for me.

They do that in almost every AAA game. Plus this one has a black protagonists with a real background. Expect the hatred, but you should know many people liked WD1, I enjoyed it, love the mechanics, and hoped they improved.

Agree with whom? The instantly bored types that think anyone with a serious tone and REAL concern for his family somehow lacks personality?

There's also not been any significant amount of Marcus' dialog revealed to even assess what kind of personality he has.

Personally, I'd like to see people stop overreacting in silly ways about every game that launches. It's what causes devs to do a complete 180 with their next protag, then you see people whining that they went overboard with it. Well, stop going overboard yourselves.

This is because all the actual Ubisoft fans abandoned the official forums, and the Ubisoft hate bandwagoners took it over.

You are not. Indeed, the first one had many flaws, but it was an awesome game regardless. Everytime I played it I though "it has this problem, but it is still great. The second one may fix this and become even greater" :)

First game was good, if you ignore the hype that killed it. Hoping this will be another case of Assassin's Creed where the first game doesnt even compare to the 2nd.

I enjoyed WD1, never really had many issues with it. I'm looking forward to this one too. Hopfully it will be Assassin's Creed like and what I mean is where there were big improvements in AC2 vs how it started in AC.
