you really ought to look at whether your want to focus on a single- or multiplayer experience when it comes to deciding between the two.
and never played with any friend
so having said that i think WD2 is alot more fun when it comes able to do stuff and story mode
the division is not bad, at all i enjoyed teh story and unlocking new things but over all when it coems to story an able to do stuff WD2 is better
but it also depends division is of course alot more shooting oriented while WD2 you can also use guns its more hacking and what not, personaly i enjoyed WD1 alot more but thats just me
The Division -> Shoot and Grind
Watch_Dogs 2 -> Shoot, Hack, Drive, Race, Emote and Grind
Both are very large pieces of bread, but The Division is the largest of the two.
However, Watch Dogs 2 receives a more sizeable amount of butter for its smaller surface area.
Whereas, The Division gets a far smaller amount of butter but spread across its larger area, making it spread thinner and more shallow.
If we went further into it as well. The spread used on both pieces of toast would be vastly different.
Watch Dogs 2's spread would be something a kin to Nutella or Marshmallow Fluff, pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good.
Whereas The Division's spread would be something a bit more plain, like well, butter.
What I'm trying to say, is that The Division is a larger game and will take longer but its duller and more generic.
Whereas Watch Dogs 2 is a decent size but with more varied and interesting stuff going on.
Now I'm hungry thinking about nutella on toast, so I'm gonna get me some of that.
It is easier to optimise multiplayer games, but some games with a large single player component are a bit rough these days.
WD2 seems to run better on High, but if you turn off AA it looks horrible. Transparency AA with 2xMSAA and SMAA saves a lot of VRAM over 4xMSAA, you need 8 GB of VRAM for 4xMSAA and high resolutions. The last patch seemed to make Watch Dogs 2 frame rate run lower. Hopefully they patch it again and improve the frame rate, and it does like to crash easily, even when every other game is stable for a lot of people. A lot of the Ultra effects just seem to make it crash easy and only a few actually seem to improve visual quality, with very little differnce over some of the High and Very High settings.
Publishers make developers rush games out for Christmas, so ther Division would be way better supported and developed by now I imagine. Watch Dogs 2 could be better later on with some more patching, like so many other singleplayer games these days.
You will probably get all your anger out
Its really hard alone.
