How do I stop idiots from joining my missions?
Every time I try to carefully plan something, some idiot is joining my missing and is just running in sparying bullets. How do I set this up in a way where I'll have to confirm people who join my missons?

I Mean people dont really join missions the game is a whole lobby meaning there is other people in the same game as you you just cant see there username or were there at because its soupose to be secret since its means there are more hackers out there

Its soupose to let you know your not the only one
If you dont want people joining your missions or inturpting make sure you are not doing online missions and story mode missions only either that or just relaunch and hope for the best
you can't disable this without disabling other MP modes. So disable it and you won't be able to reanable it for 16 minutes plus not participate in Hacking Mode, Bounty Hunt, etc.

You can also avoid trolls like this though:

There may be some options in the options menu under Settings > Online Preferences. Hope this helped, :)

I would, but I want my stuff to be saved online. It is also waiting for connection sometimes before starting a mission.

Hey Alex,

These missions are specifically designed for co-op, so the game will automatically try to pair you with someone when you are connected to the internet. Since you don't want to disconnect from the internet, you can try these.

- In the Options, under Online Preferences, you can turn off "Hacking Invasions"
- You can press start and disconnect from the other player, now you won’t be reconnected or matchmade with them.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

Thanks

I have turned everything off in the online section but it still try's to matchmake. How can I get it over to Ubisoft that I don't want to play with other people, that I want to play the game as single play? What is it that you don't understand about a customer not wanting to play with others online?
Designing the missions purly for co-op was a bloody stupid idea, are all the missions like this?
FacingEscapist Jan 15, 2019 @ 1:54am
I think the missions in purple are co-op only. The rest are single player. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

This isn't the game for you. It really isn't. GTA is a better single-player experiance than this.

I will watch out for these purple missions.
I have trouble tracking missions, and if I log-off when half way through one, next time I boot it up the game has put me on a different mission. Boy, is this game confusing.

I would enjoy GTA-V if it wasn't for the fact there are to many frigging controls. I ran out of keys trying to remap them.

Ah I know what you mean. Watch Dogs is pretty co-op/online orientated though. I know you *can* play in singleplayer, but it's deadly dull. I've been forced to do this when my connection was out and I hated it. It's just no fun in a world that doesn't have the same level of detail as GTA IMHO.

What kind of thing do you like in a game? There might be some better ones out there if you are able to refund this one. The newest Assassin's Creed for example is a fun single-player experiance.

Can't refund, I bought it straight from UBI, not that I want to. For all of it's flaws I'm sort of drawn to WD2, and the more I learn how the game works the more I am liking it. I think I must have already put in 20 hours or more in single play. :)
Ellie Jan 15, 2019 @ 8:59am
Ah well that's fair enough. :) Any game that I can get 20 hours from I'm happy with, even if I don't play any further than that.
