Its easier to see the jagged lines when moving, because it all kinda flickers at the edge, i guess i could get used to it but its pretty annoying. Maybe it has to do with my display and res? 1080p 27"
So what combo of MMAA and PPMA should I have? Because its weird if i preset it doesnt touch msaa at all
Do you have SLI in use by any chance? Because if Temporal Filtering is greyed out, it's most likely that.
But on-topic: I don't have an idea what to do to fix this then.
Also Temporal is probably greyed out because you have enabled MSAA or TXAA.You cant use Temporal with MSAA or TXAA on
Thanks for the info though, my last questions would be which is better MSAA or TXAA and also what common settings people use? Like is it best to lower everything else for jagged edges to go away or something? Or do people just tough out the edges lol
It basically does the same thing, but the ingame setting is just limited to 25% above your own resolution.
It gives a more crisper image with a little less performance impact than using regular MSAA.
TXAA however is a nice feature (especially since WD2 uses a different version now) but it obviously tanks the performance too much for most people.
So play around with Pixel Density, or force an even higher resolution through Nvidia's DSR.
Ultra setting does not include AA .You have to set ambient occlusion and AA manually. If you want to eliminate all jaggies then TXAA is the best but there is a huge performance drop.I would instead use the resources on PCSS shadows but thats just me
970's and i7 5930k
It's could look worse for you because you are sitting in front of a 27" 1080p monitor when most run a 22-24" 1080p monitor or 27" 1440p/4K.

You have a 27 inch 1080P monitor which lowers the PPI so you could notice more jaggies than me as I have the same resolution on a 24 inch monitor.Hence the image will be sharper for me'
I am on a single 970 and it runs at 40-60 fps at any setting.Lowering or increasing res or settings doesnt affect fps at all
