He can run gta5 on ultra....but this not on low...you really gonna blame that on his specs? Lmao.
Yea this is why i am so annoyed and confused
It needs patching, there is no need for this game to use much more then GTA5 does, it might look a tad better but not enough to justify what people are experiencing, anyone who tells you its your PC when you can run GTA5 at ultra is ignorant...
The same thing i thought
And to be honest, I really can't see the reasson for such a demanding game, becasue when I compare both games on PC, I would say that GTA V just looks better. And it runs silky smooth with 60 frames per second and all settings cranked up to the max.
But that's Rockstar for you - they really, REALLY did a fantastic job with GTA V which they don't call "port" - they call it "paralell developed game to the next console generation". And that's a good thing.
Yeah graphically GTA5 might be a tad better, some may prefer the syle on WD2 better, both seem near the same level graphically speaking, both should run about as well as each other, this just seems like another Ubisoft mess sadly.
They never fully fixed WD1(I own it, a mod made it passable to play, years later imo) so I am holding off on buying this...possibly forever.
So what's left? Well, I love the atmosphere. The world seems alive. Nighttime looks decent, but gameplay-wise? It's ... yeah. It's a bunch of script-kiddies with high praised SJW attitude and "SOCIAL JUSTICE!" written all over the whole city. It's like "Tumblr: The Game".
Honestly I am just a sucker for open world games like this, so I do wanna play it, just a shame they pushed out a ♥♥♥♥ PC version.
I can get over the SJW crap, I heard it was like Mr.Robot light edition story wise, that suits me fine, I love that show, I am not expecting anything ground breaking.
As bad as the driving was in WD1 I could deal with that, gameplay(I liked the use of the phone while doing shoot outs) I actually liked in it, is it worse here?
Well, gameplay IMHO relies too much on the new gadgets. I did the majority of the missions without even entering the mission area. My drone and little runabout did the hacking. Shooting is ... bad. Like ... for real. Just watch some videos of the game.
I suggest: wait until the problems are fixed and then get it during the Winter Sale.
Soundtrack is AMAZING. I love it.
I been skipping a lot of new releases it seems.
- DOOM (2016)
- Shadow Warrior 2 (GO FOR IT! Procedural generated levels, tons of weapons, kickass soundtrack and when the swords slices and dices, it is no laughing matter.)
Plan to pick up Doom, was kinda bummed on Doom 3(Hate it, know some loved it, no offense) but heard the new one was a return to roots which I loved as a kid.
Have SW2(Gog, I love gog, on sale there, still playing it)...It does run amazingly well.
I have spotify, might as well give it a whirl.
