Multiplayer - cant connect with my friend

I have a big problem. I cant connect to my friends world or the other way around.. Can someone help please? We both have a great WiFi connection.

No.. It says: friend not avaliable. We tried restarting and still not working..

Same here, unable to connect when joining throuigh Uplay or in-game. Why is this still broke?

Is there a process so we can join our friends? should we be at the same area or something?

Me and my friend was having the same issue, but he told me we need to open something in the routter and he did this and works great now, but just me can join their game if he want he cant because i didnt did the same thing yet. So probably its your routter or something, look for some conexion trouble in The Crew, maybe is something equal

That does not sound very seamless. They should have posted that in the store page that if you want to play with friends, you have to jump hoops and open ports just to play with each other.

yeah, i know but its the only way to make it work in the moment (in my case at least) but in your case maybe is something different idk. Hope Ubisoft add something to show us how are our connection with the game or something else, they put in The Crew and helped a lot of people that cant join a session etc

solved it formyself.

compared port forwarding with my friends and it turns out I had to open port 9000 UDP.
hope this helpes u out.

also upen up standart uplay ports like 443 :)

What about updating his drivers, hm?

I don't see you guys adressing the CPU bottleneck and/or the phenomen, that people with decent rigs have heavy FPS drops ...

Sainst Row IV-V - no need to port forward
Vermintide - No need to port forward
Helldivers - no need to port forward
Gears of War 4 - no need to port forward
Battlefield 1 - no need to port forward
TitanFall 2 - no need to port forward
Overwatch - no need to port forward
The Division - no need to port forward

why does Watchdogs 2 need to port forward ports to be able to play with friends.

It seems Steep has the same issue. I really hope they tested all this before release.
