I reported him as well, what he said added nothing useful to the conversation. Thinking that a high end rig not getting 60FPS has anything to do with a dual core cpu getting a black screen is hilarious. I have an i7 7700K sitting here on my desk, just haven't gotten around to setting her up. I'd still like to see this issue resovled. Benny is correct, the dual cores can run most of these games on mid settings. My G3258 is clocked at 4.5Ghz and i haven't had issues running any games, except witcher 3 which happened to be another on that doesn't like dual core after patch 1.3 i think, worked flawless before that. So it's all in the code for the game.
yes sure, you are right, but what you said is something the rest of the people already figured out in the posts above, in a nice and orderly manner. we aren't discussing the fact of whether or not G3258 and other similar cpus can or cannot run the game, we are just merely annoyed and deflated that these cpus, for example G3258, can run modern titles, such as Mirror's Edge: Catalyst, Rise of the Tomb Raider, even Far Cry: Primal(even though older far cry games needed a shell injector, luckily the latest installment in the series, doesn't need one), yet still, Ubisoft decided to put min. cpu core requirement on the game. yes multiple cores, especially more than 4 is the bare minimum and the future, but some can't afford that
Well if you can not afford to upgrade your PC, maybe you should think of buying console instead.
cause the better the copy protection the more problems it can cause for legit playing it like online users do.
if any one solved that problem and finally got the game via uplay to work. let me know i tryed everything
really everything to get it work nothing helped.
i have a quad core x4 880 k with rx 770 8gb gddr5 and 16 gigs ram on win 10 64.
and thanks for your replies, if a fix does pop up eventually, please do notify me if possible
