Watch Dogs 2 Black Screen At Start

I purchased watch dogs 2 with much ecpectations but it ruined mine i installed everything in 1 day my all drivers are up to date when i lauch the game wither via uplay or steam the watch dogs logo show up then after a few seconds a black screen opens and it never gets past that please help ubisoft or i will be doing a refund big fans of yours but unfortunately this can i only do now as i will not pay for a black screen if anyone have a fix please share very very helpful

I've also got a G3258 @3.2 GHz...
I think we will have to wait for a duel core fix or injector like with far cry 4 :( THIS SUCKS!

Ubisoft have stated that duel cores are not supported guys :(... I sent them a very angry statement saying that the G3258 even @3.2GHz can manage to run the game... And I'm sure all of you guys will back me up on that, we all know very well first hand that this CPU can do some remarcable things with even a lot of the newest titles and preformace is impressive for a duel core. :)
Ubisoft is trying to kill off the duel core proccessors sadly thou :(
(I am 1 of the ppl who can't just affort 1 of the higher end i5 or i7 CPUs which I'm sure you guys can agree with...)

Seriosuly i just paid $40 for a game I can't even play?! Steam says i have played more then 2 hours of the game and thats why they wont give me a refund. I havent got a chance to play the game. So now i have to save up my money and get a new cpu upgrade. Well done UBISOFT. I agree with Benny the pentium is one of the most powerful cpus on the market for a low price and it can do a lot of things. Im so disappointed.

How did you guys even start the game? it wont let me past uplay because i need a CD key but steam hasnt given me one??

I have the same problem, game loads up atfer a few seconds at the cut scene it crashes too black screen and I have too power off pc and back on again. Processor I7 4770k Graphics card Evga GTX 980 FTW.

G3260 here, can run many games with decent fps on medium-high settings, dual core cpu lock is pretty stupid imo. Even G3258 can run Division on high settings on 60-50 fps which to me is still acceptable

I sorted out my black screen crash by lowering my clock speed on graphics card which I had too do the same with rise of the tombraider.
