How to pause EAC and enjoy single player offline

For people playing via steam put this followign line in the set launch option under properties when you click on right mouse botton on the game in your game library:

-eac launcher

Then start the game

If you see the below message you have safely opted out of the multiplayer and will not be able to to participate in every mutiplayer activities until you undo the setted launch option.

Error! EasyAntiCheat is not installed and multiplayer willl be disabled.

I can't tell this is 100% legitimate way to play offline. As you all know, use at your own risk.

Personally I will never play online so I do not need an anticheat program scanning my PC because I am playing a single player game.......also you all seem to be missing the point, this isn't about disabling the AC for cheating but if you want to mod the game you can't do that either due to the EAC running.....

He's also "promoting" that this will DISABLE the MULTIPLAYER mode... Tron - you are looking at it wrong. The launch command was put there by the developer so people can turn off eac when they dont want to be online. The developer has already put in provisions in the game to disable multiplayer when that launch command is used. Launch commands arent hacks or third party programs. They are part of the program code put there by the developer. If you put -insscure into a valve game it does something similar. it will disable vac and prevent you from playing on official servers. Nothing wrong if you want to do that and it is developer sanctioned because it disables what can affect other players.

Dying light and ark evolved amongst other games work the same way.

If you disable it, it forces you to go offline. Nothing wrong is being done, and there's no reason why you shouldn't be allowed to play with cheats offline. You're a ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
