WatchDogs 2 Hangs on LoadScreen
Hi,

I've been reading Ubisoft forums for the problem I've encountered recently, but I have to admit.. Ubisoft support forums are absolutely useless! I'm no the only one telling it.

The problem is: the game hangs on the screen after you press CONTINUE to start game!
I've never had a load screen that didn't end but this time it is happenning. I was in the escape stage of the "Moscow Gambit DedSec Operation".

Until now I've encountered the crashes when you hit a guy with a silenced weapon, now it happens even with weapons not silenced (so ok i don't use them at all) but this new bug is disturbing: I can do nothing.

I don't think I'll buy another Ubi game. Watch Dogs 1 had many issues even though it was really playable. But having no smart reply from the Ubi Tech Supp first, and then especially no answer anymore when you have fulfilled their stupid requirements given in the basic tech support steps... it frustrates.

If anyone may have a working solution then I'll be your forever slave. Thanks!

What have you done already to fix it?

Hi, thanks for your answer. I've done everything asked in the basics...
- Try to run the game with administrator rights
- Update your video card drivers
- Verify your game files
- Disable background applications
- Make sure your operating system is up to date
- Check for Windows updates and install any updates that are pending.
- Update Uplay PC ​
- Reinstall supporting software

+ Reinstall the game...

In the end, it seems to me that the save has a bug, or maybe not, I don't know, on the video, the loading seems to do fine, as normal, but it also seems to slow down towards the end which is abnormal...

I understand. Yeah, support sometimes is "very special".

The bug with aiming someone with a silenced pistol happens sometimes to me, too. In my case it was caused by the over- clocking software or the over clocking itself. And I agree that it could possibly be the save- file.

Well, thanks. For my part I have no oc software: I had no other solution than going rogue aiming heads but provoking riots. I couldn't be this snake taking down enemies one by one with silenced headshots :(

On the Ubi forum it appears the same bug happened to someone else, and obviously we must be more than 2, since the bug occurs if one die in a specific mission!

So to resume the great Ubi support service:

04th of June: I went through contact support service,
12th of June: had someone to ask to try the basic solution https://support.ubi.com/en-gb/faqs/0...asique-sur-PC/ which I did (knowing it's never the solution of course but whatever... give it a try, be cooperative)
13th of June: I send Ubi the details, the files...
23th of June: still NO answer
02th of July: still NO answer

Well, I guess the support service can be resumed like this: "please noob do the basic solutions for 10 yo noobs, then **** off! we don't have the solution, we don't have the ressources, we don't want to help, this forum is just a lure, we must have a forum like any other big brand, and hopefully, another player having troubles could help you..."
