Just to clarify, everyone experiencing difficulty getting the DLC to activate purchased both the base game and DLC from the same location, correct? This is important, as the content won't function if purchased from separate stores.
We do have an FAQ on installing extra content on PC for WD2 which might help work towards resolving this situation. You can check it out here:
https://support.ubi.com/en-GB/faqs/000026168
it haves it on steam
2. Navigate to the DLC tab
3. Make sure to check/recheck all the purchased DLC packages
4. Play the game
Works for most if not all games
I bought Watch Dogs 2 itself and DLC in steam.
I checked DLC is "installed" on steam by Properties DLC tab
But still there's no DLC in Watch Dogs 2.
How they still leave this problem after 2 years from first report...
I'm using Gentoo Linux + WINE + dxvk for playing WD2.
It works pretty well other than online feature, I heard because of EasyAntiCheat.
Is it needed for DLC? What is needed for DLC?
I bought WD2 itself and DLC both on steam LEGALLY.

EAC is not working now, but I'm so much waiting it. EAC is needed for online play.
You can see EAC devs are working to make it work on Linux but still not.

Disabling EAC is currently usual way to run WD2 on WINE.
You can see Lutris official script is also disabling EAC by "-eac_launcher".
This option is needed to avoid stalling WD2 in splash screen.

Please don't do such rude offensive comment without enough knowledge.
Perhaps you also don't know steam users can hide own profile from others for privacy.
How you can be so arrogant without knowledge?
And sharing and asking about WD2 on Linux + WINE environment here is reasonable.
Because SteamOS + Proton is based on Linux + WINE. Even not yet work well, steam is trying to make Windows games run on SteamOS + Proton. This kind of sharing info is useful for supporting steam.
Even it doesn't work now, it's not useless. This kind of info can make better SteamOS + Proton.
At least you cannot say it as 'fault'.
None of the DLC missions are showing up in the game, nor the custom packs.
But I can play Elite, Mayhem, Showdown sessions (which are supposed to be DLC parts).
Is WD2 broken in steam?
