Is it safe to use Trainer or cheat in a Single player offline campaign ?

I am really frustrated and I keep dying in this one mission. Is it legal for me to use cheat or trainer in a single player mode.

I KNOW MULTIPLAYER CHEAT IS ILLEGAL NOT SURE ABOUT SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN.

Either way it is illegal all round. Not saying that you can't use cheats but once you use them it takes the fun out of the game plus the anticheat software might not agree with you

I know that off steam Ubisoft and Rockstar does not ban using cheats on a single player mode. They do ban people on multiplayer so wondering if the policy is same with the steam

You can use trainer only if you turn off EasyAntiCheat, doing so will disable Multiplayer as well.
That is the only option.

i'm not advertising but you can find a good trainer in Mrantifun (better than the greedy Cheathappens)

like everyone said, you have to turn off the EAC that disable your MP (making it legit to cheat)

try to not abuse your trainer because some games can crash by using a trainer too long, if you planed to be god, unlimited ammo and god mode for your vehicle you have to be prepared for a crash

i suggest you to use only the max follower (exp) and max cash option because they wouldn't make your game to crash

so, good game and train yourself :)

Cheathappens is not greedy !
I payed 5$ years ago for life time membership.
I guess that is fair price for good and legit trainers without any malware.

ALSO, You don't have the game too (maybe using a pirate copy)

How to disable EAC ?

You need to go to the library, right click the game, properties and press the "Define the game parameters" then put this: eac_launcher

The game boots up with easy anti-cheat and the multiplayer is dynamic because it can switch to multiplayer at any time if you don't turn it off you could be using cheats and get invaded or bounty hunter missions.

As long the anticheat works , you will not be able to start the game or use any cheat.
While EasyAntiCheat is working it will prevent any program like trainers or cheatengine to make any changes with in the memory.
In most cases the game will crash, when trainer gets activated or any unauthorized memory changes been made.
You need to disable EAC first, doing so will disable multiplayer, from that moment you can play only single player, all online features will be not available till you switch EAC back on
