Wont start with internet

My game won't start, but found that when my internet connection is off, it works. This way non of my mods work accept the platinum expansion I got with the game. Any advice of fixes please. I see lots of people with the same problem.

You haven't changed the path to your mods folder or have designated it to be on some other computer that is connected through the Internet, have you?

I have played many times without the Internet working & all my mods that I have downloaded work fine, since they are on my computers mods file.

C:\Users\USER_ID\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2017\mods. Make sure to change the USER_ID to your own computers User_id.

Recently another player found that they had to go into Windows & change the exceptions for this game. Since Windows was flagging the program as part of its protection against viruses.

UPDATE: I got the mods to work. The one's I had was for fs19. I still can not play with the internet on, so no multiplayer.

I found a solution for multiplayer. You disconnect from the internet, enter the game, wait a few seconds, then turn on the internet. I was able to play with friends without problems.
