PS4 Controller Config Issues

Hi there. I am having a hard time configuring my PS4 controller on FS 17. The issue I am having is that the game seems to recognize my controller twice - one as "Wireless Controller" and the other as "XINPUT_GAMEPAD". On the "Controls 2" page, I can select the correct one (XINPUT_GAMEPAD) and hit save but once the game loads again, it goes back to "Wireless Controller". What I need to happen is the game to stay on "XINPUT_GAMEPAD" so I don't need to try to use the horrible button mapping system in the game!
Any advice would be appreciated greatly.

Hey! Well... sort of. If you launch the game through Steam Big Picture, there is a controller config that seems to work well with the PS4 controller. One issue with it is that some of the driving/camera controlls were wrongly mapped to the joysticks/triggers so, what I did was go into the in-game button mapping menu and change the mapping of these controls. Was pretty easy. This is the only way I can make it work properly at the moment. Hope this helps!
EDIT: Just so you know, the default controller config is the one I'm talking about.
