Spiel Startet nicht!!! / game will not start!!!

hello i need help please. just downloaded the game but it won't start. as soon as i want to start it i get the loading screen and after a few seconds i come right back to steam. i must have tried to start it 30 to 40 times but it won't start. can someone help me please?

Some people/regions have an issue playing the game while connected to the internet. Disconnect from the net and see if the game launches.

It has been an issue for years and GIANTS has never acknowledged it. It is so odd I have started to think it is due to either someone having an illegal copy of the game (at one point on their system or having purchased from a shady "key" seller.

What the hell??? It really worked! Thank you for your help. the customer support is very bad, they want to have some log files ready without a solution.

If this problem has been going on for so long, why don't they finally fix it? Personally, I bought all my games on Steam and not an illegal copy on my PC. As I said, my game crashed immediately right after downloading.

You are welcome. If you want mods download them then manually place them in the "mods" folder. Since you cannot start the game while online you will need to download them, place them, then disconnect in order to play.

I do not know why GIANTS has never offered a solution for this issue. I have never had it myself.

Okay, thanks for your useful tips. GIANTS had a solution to the problem for me. Why the game doesn't start is due to my Intel CPU. I had to make a small very slight adjustment and the game was launched. Also online. I now have absolutely no more problems.

please press the key combination Windows+R on the desktop and enter: "SystemPropertiesAdvanced" (without quotation marks).

Confirm this with "OK".
In the next window select the tab "Advanced" and there "Environment variables".

At the very bottom of "System variables" click on the "New" field and enter the following codes in the fields:

Name of the variable:OPENSSL_ia32cap
Value of the variable: ~0x20000000

Confirm with "OK" and restart the PC. Now you should be able to start the game.

Since the 10th generation of Intel i processors there is a bug with the calculation of OpenSSL, which Intel describes in more detail in this article:

Hello I have a question, I recently built my new PC and when I tried to play Farming simulator 17 I have the same problem, so here is my question: has this problem been solved in later farming simulator games? if so I might just get FS22 instead of trying to fix this.

ijsthee2000 - Your best bet for that answer is typing it in the FS22 forums or the GIANTS website.

I personally do not own FS22. I do not buy every version as all GIANTS does is grab a popular mod or two, add them in, then release a new version every 2 years.

Hello, I also bought LS22 through Microsoft and it works without any problem. LS17 was the first game that gave me these problems. As I said after I entered the solution path of GIANTS I had no more problems. Also not with mods or in multiplayer. And this solution was really very very easy to enter. All this took 3 minutes and the game run.
