FS17 and damn win 11

Has anyone had any success in playing FS17 on bluddy windows 11? The thing starts to open but closes and I keep getting some damn ms-gamingoverlay garbage which, I am assuming is preventing FS17 from opening ....

Any suggestions how to resolve this please?

no but got the same problem, tried to start it, but it just closes directly.
I deleted it, reinstalled it, restarded the PC,.. nothing changes, still dont open the game. probably cuz of win11

Haven't tried running it without internet ...... I'll see what happens and let you know

I'll be damned - it worked! I disconnected from the internet and it worked perfectly??

Any ideas why that is? How the internet stops it from running?

This has been a problem for some people for years. I have never seen GIANTS offer a solution. They have ignored it when asked on their forums. I started to think it was an issue with illegal game copies.
