Streaming radio

I cannot stream my local radio station via the internet, i need help. I would love my favourite radio station in the game :D

steam -> right click propertys -> go to local files -> go to profileTemplate folder -> read ReadmeMusic.txt

replace just this (http://www.please-edit-this-01.com/stream.m3u) with the link to your radio station. save...

How do you add a radio station, Say i want to listen to BBC Radio 2, how do you do it?

Yes for example if you want three stations

unfortunately - here in the states many of the stations dont have the "support url type" for instance - the URl that i want to do is

http://www.iheart.com/live/the-river973-wrvv-1985/

there is nothing after that just that - so how do i get that to work in the game? thanks

My local station, the live player doesn't end with M3u or mp3... I know where to put it and all, i just can't get it working.

Yeah, I agree. Most the US streams don't end with these extensions. The one that comes shipped with the game is perplexing to me because it is 113fm but if you go to their site, they have tons of different channels but I can't for the life of me figure out how to link specific ones into the game. There is Country and R&B (I believe) pre-baked into the game, but no clue how they got there or how to add ones I want. No m3u or mp3 extensions on any of their links.

I just loaded up American Truck Simulator, updated the radio stations. Opened up the file it saves to and transferred the ones over to the FS file that i wanted. Not ideal but at least theres something other than the ones that come with the game.

I started listening to the 181.FM stations after playing American Truck Sim, and wanted to use a few of them in FS17. I did a google search for 181.fm url and found their page which listed the m3u/mp3 url's for all the stations they have.
Try doing a little digging, you might find what you are looking for.
