Suggestions Needed on Mud Map
I want a muddy-mess map. Not mud puddles mind ya but that'd b ok. I'm talking the kind of mud u get stuck in & have to go get something else to get ya out. Pulled out, winched out....u know what I mean. With a logging theme but mud in fields or around fields, dirt roads or trails would b awesome. Would this require multi-player mode & editing scripts? Let me know what u guys think. Give me a couple of maps to consider. Much appreciated.

Doesn't exist in that form in this game, as far as I know. Closest you can get to "getting stuck" is if you use the "MoreRealistic" mod and inappropriate equipment to do your work.

In FS15 the Dakota 16 had mud pits so deep you would get stuck in them. I would imagine it would be possible to mod in 17 too.

I think you would like Le Bout Du Monde. I love muddy trails between fields, this map has a lot. The only way to get to many field is dirt roads, there are animated mud splashes on some.

Be advised V2 has been released, it is very different, mostly in good ways, from the first. You can find the original in the mod browser in game. I highly reccomend it.

I hope you enjoy, it's my favorite. Currently playing V2 with seasons mod.

If you want to try V1, it's really great, but V2 in my opinion fixes some things that were sort of annoying, like going into the cattle farm, there is a sharp turn, with a huge boulder on the side, up a steep hill. I like this sort of thing, rather than boring wide open spaces, but after a few days on this farm, this one little part gets kind of annoying. In V2 you have a nice straight entrance into the farm, but still have all of the great dirt trails leading out to the fields. It's an incredible map with a great "muddy back road feel".

That really does sound like alot of fun. I've never installed a different map. Is it too terribly difficult to do?

not at all.
you just download like any other mod, move the zip file to your mod folder, and then you can chose it as map while starting a new game.

So, u basically start all over on the new map? No carry-overs of equipment?

Indeed, but you can edit the save to give yourself money to start with what you want. There's also a mod (which I think you can find on the official modhub, but I'm not certain) that can let you add money while ingame.

I had a look at LBDM map... these are not "mud" ways using interactive mud the OP asked for.

but the map is beautiful and has a lot of really inspiring aspects.
and these ways are challenging to drive on. I already know this model from a lot of other maps.
sadly it IS a model, means it uses lots of polygons and is not plowable.

Sorry, OP asked for mud in a game that doens't have it. Best I could come up with. I still get stuck on the dirt roads on this map, tires spinning and everything. It "feels" muddy, even if it isn't SpinTires.

can you describe the conditions more detailed?
since I don't get such effects at all on this dirt roads, I just get juggling vehicle...
