Logging in Estancia Lapacho (DLC Map)
is there any known place on the map itself for logging or does it all need to be done by planing trees?

Second Question: poplar sapplings does it produce more vaulable trees than the noram sapplings?

I think, you can raise pines in some areas suitable for. on the plateau south of the hacienda seems to be a nice place, and north of the sawmill there is an area with driveways into the land with some trees on it, I guess this is predesigned for logging.

for the second question:
poplar sampling do not produce any full grown trees and pines in game are not necessarily north american pines.

one can cut most of the trees down and sell logs or chips. i could not cut the lapacho tree down though. the scorpion will cut the coconut weeds.

the poplars just produce wood chips harvestable with with the foraging header and poplar cutter. poplars do not grow in tropical or sub-tropical climes.

You can cut the palm 'trees'.
You cannot plant palm 'trees' yet.
(A pitty because palm oil, palm sugar, dates, rattan, coconut and other uses would be a nice addition too. Strange that cocoa or tropical fruits have not been added either.)

the densest area with tropical trees is the dark green map area just south of the road that runs between the sheep farm and lumber mill (kinda central area at the northern part of the map).
