RollBelt 150 is cheaper version. Produces Round Bales; you have to manually dump the bale once 100%; meanwhile the Auto Grabber for Round Bale allows for a quantity of 8
Big Baler 1290 is more expensive version; produces square bales, auto ejects when complete. And the Auto Grabber for this version (Square) holds (like you said 16)
Both Square and Round gave me $328 each. So value of Straw is based off market and or just a flat price either way.
So "if you have the money" buy the bigger baler; and buy a bigger auto grabber!!
I think I'll go sell my smaller Round Grabber now :)
***EDIT; the bigger version though works slower; the mph of item that is. You can go a bit faster on the smaller priced item. I've seen as low as 7mph when using the Bigger Version Producer***
*edit; the speed might have more to do with which tractor you are using, a lower HP one will not pull it as fast while it is working.
Square bales are better for hay for animals and straw, since they stack'n'pack better than round ones. The more expensive baler makes these. The Square baler also has an added advantage in being able to 'bale on the run', unlike the round baler. The square bale stacker stacks two columns of six or seven, iirc.
If you're just selling off straw, you only really need a forage wagon to pick it off the ground.
