when you skip the night, they put you back into action when they implemented, not when you want it.
with the timescale like it is now, you can speed up time to 120x and take a relaxed walk thru the night, and when it's getting bright enough to get back to work, normally between 4 and 5, put timescale back to 1x and continue working.
for me i love this option, because i play with real time, and in the begining of the night i have again some work to do to before i finish the work for the day and when i think it's ok, i skip the night...,
but it's sure it's can be better if the moddler put the script neer a bed, and you can active it in making a click on the bed, but i think i have view only 1 mods they let's you enter in your house, but it's easy for a moddler to make it.
That said I enabled console and u can then go to a specific hour by console command.
so thats an option Punch in 23.59 and it ticks day off then again whatever hour u wish to start day @
using 120x speed in vanilla or skipping in seasons mod DOES trigger the growth cycle.
I'm not sure but it can be that when the next growth is sceduled for 01:00h and you skip the night via console there may be no growth during the whole day since the next 01:00h.
so skipping time via console maybe like skipping BACK.
