Where can i fill my water tanks?

At the water troughs that are scattered around? I haven't played enough to mess with that yet, but that is what the tool tips at the trough say.

there is a small wooden fountain to the side of field 12. i think you can fill up there

i am not there yet but i thought there are some wells in the world. i also believe you can build a watertower.

You can also just put them into the river. Just drive to a small beach part and fill it there.

Put into river for free or pay money at water trough.....
Or wait for a water tank mod that just accumulates over time.

You can also buy water tank from the store, it's in placeables. Sorry if i miss typed placeables.

Do the 'guided tour'...it shows you where to get water from.

Get water from any water source u can back a tank into. Once it's in and touching the water surface just press "I" to start filling it.
