Hi all!

We’re aware of the issues with input devices, and have been working on a fix since we released the patch yesterday. We currently plan to release this patch as soon as possible today.

Logetech G29 has stop working waiting for a patch. No one checked how this would effect game controlls before patch was released? Having retired out of the tech field I would have had somones ass for a screw up like that.

ça me rassure que tout le monde est des problème de volant de toute marque confondu (volant SOG pr ma part) ...J'espère que Giant va très vite réglé le problème dut à cette dernier "mauvaise" mise à jour.

Si vous avez un problème avec votre manette depuis la mise à jour 1.5.3.

Voici l'astuce:


Dans inputBinding.xml il faut supprimer la section qui ressemble à ceci

<device name="(DEVICE NAME)" id="(DEVICE ID)"/>
</devices>

Ouvrez le ficher avec Notepad ou un Bloc Notes et enregistrez. Moi çà a réglé mon soucis de manette. Donc peut etre aussi pour les volants.

Par contre mon jeu lag à mort depuis

This worked for my G27, but has put 14% deadzone on all the axes, which makes steering a bit awkward. If I try to reset the deadzones, wheel no longer works, and the above section has reappeared in the inputbindings.xml.
Better than nothing until the hotfix arrives though, so many thanks for the suggestion!

As for Giants, sadly it is about what we have come to expect over the years....

GIANTS, you should do what SCS Software does and make an open beta branch on Steam before fully releasing each update. Also be less vague about what you actually did to fix stuff in the changelog.

While I'm here dispensing feedback, I'd also like to point out that the wheels on the Brent Avalanche auger wagon appear to be facing backwards.

Giants could learn a whole lot about how to do software, updates, DLC etc from SCS. Hope the hotfix comes soon, until then its back to ETS2 Italia and ATS.....

Works fine for me, but then I use keyboard and mouse. I had plenty of hours in before I even knew you could use a controller and by then I was used to keyboard & mouse.
