What is reverse drive used for?
I can see it being handy to line up tool in the field but then you can't see if you're heading in a straight line. I'd just use adjustable mirrors for that. Is it for when you have a front loader? Or is it for better turning radius or something?
Edit:
Apparently this is one of the uses http://imgur.com/a/uOt3M

^, also it makes running a forage wagon a breeze due to the wagon following the tractor better. Kinda irks me that you can't hire a worker while driving like that..

When you lower the pickup and start the loading wagon before hiring, the helper will work the field with the single mower on front.

Oh, and to clarify: The triple mowers are attached to the back of the tractor, the foraging wagon to the front when working in reverse driving mode.
