Pig Feed in Shop

I see there is pig feed in the shop where you can buy fertilizer, seeds etc. If I use this, is that all I need to feed them? Also, how do I give it to them? Just want to know before I attempt to by pigs and give this stuff a shot. I can't find it referenced anywhere in game. Thanks!

You can either put it into a tipper, or bring it to the pig pen and put it in the feeding area. Though it is worth mentioning that pig feed is really not worth it.

yes thats all they need to eat.
They do need straw and water as well ... all you do is take the bag to the feed through and it should load itself or you might need to press something cant remeber.
You would be better using any crops you make yourself first rather than splashing cash on fancy pig food.

maybe dumb question but, why should you drive 3 to 4 different crops to the pigs when you can by 1 pig food at the shop to feed, i think cost wise and time wise its better in euros its 1400 for a bag.

Yeah I buy pig food, for the convenince or atleast until I can provide all the crops myself. so yeah it will pay for itself in the end anyway, it costs to run a farm anyway, dont have to be perfect, were farmers afterall :)
