Just tried it on a new game at Goldcrest. Using the NewHolland that you start with, I drove to the shop and upgraded to the front loader. Then I bought both front loaders and a pallet fork. Both worked with no problems.

There's no 'G' on the list. Thanks for coming back. Mystery!

Forget the list. When you are in the tractor, at the bottom right of the screen you will have a display. Amongst the info there will be a little picture of your tractor and any attachments it has. One of the parts will be highlighted. This is the part of the tractor that is active. Press G to change the selection to the attachment you want.

Do you have the front loader selected?

Chrisben1 thanks for that. I have tried this five times now and the front loader will not attach the pallet fork. Are you doing anythng that might not be obvious to me (a dummy) ? Perhaps you have a weight attached to rear of tractor? This is actually a game stopper because I cannot pick kup the vital fertilizer I came shopping for. Mmmm... stuck.

Thanks for coming back. The front loader is automatically selected (white highlight) as it is the only attachment. There is no 'G' in either of the drop downs and no 'Q' as I approach the pallet fork with the front loader in what I assume is the correct position (just off the ground with the bottom bit horizontal). Frustrating. I expect it is me but what I am doing wrong?:steamfacepalm:

Managed to take some screenshots with F12 but could get no further. Tried for 30 mins to find them. No idea where they are or how put them here. Now out of time for now. Sorry but thanks for trying to help. I wil see if I can find another way to deal with pallets. J

I don't know if there is a difference. But which pallet forks did you buy? Did you buy the ones that are listed in the front loader section? Or did you buy the pallet fork in the skidsteer section?

Gonna have to second this. I could be wrong, but judging by the screenshots that pallet fork looks like it might be too large for your front loader. If you bought the pallet fork from the Front Loader menu in the shop, it should fit no problem and you look properly lined up.

If you bought it from the Skid Steer or Telehandler menus it likely won't fit.

Using three different tractors, the two you get when starting, NewHolland 8340,and the Case 1455XL and also bought the Valtra T SERIES. All three upgraded with front loader. Then both front loaders, the shovel and pallet fork. All work with no problem. The only problem I had was getting the small frontloader off the Valtra, it got stuck slightly but reversing while turning did the trick.

Doesn't look like either of the pallet forks from skidsteer or telehandler and it's also different from the front loader one. screenshot with the three.

Are you sure you are trying to connect a frontloader pallet fork to the front loader? not a telehandler, skidloader or wheel loader pallet fork to a front loader?

They are NOT interchangable. you need the pallet for from the same place you bought the frontloader. skidloaders will only connect to the attachments from the skidloader category telehandlers from the telehandler category etc.
