Time scale/growth per cycle
Does anyone know what the time amount is per growth cycle and is it affected by the growth rate being fast or normal i want to be able to plan my harvesting times better

Yes the growth cycle time is affected by the gorwth rate. On Normal it is about 6 hours per stage.

No, that's a good question. I usually put it on real time and plow, cultivate, and sow all fields. Crank to 120 until first growth cycle. Slow back down to real time. Fertilize. Back to 120 until next growth. Back to real, fertilize. 120 until harvest time, then back to real to harvest. Repeat. Most effective for me. I've tried leaving on 15x or 30x and always what happens is half a field will grow ahead of other half....makes it a real pain in the ass.

there's also an old mod ported to 2017 called growth manager that ensures your crops will grow 1 time at 0000 no matter which time of the day they were planted
if you already have growing plants before installing the mod the crops will grow following the latest crop growth stage available
otherwise they follow the conventional rules
1 day, 6 hours, 4 hours?

Don't do missions... Your growth stages go into stasis while on missions which throws those calculations off.

On normal the time between stages is aprox 6h 45m default growth settings.

I think it's about 13 hours on hard. Which makes maintenance even harder to pay :-). Still helps to encourage focus to get the most from each bit of kit early in the game!:steamsalty:
