Sugar Beet Storage
Ok so i have a pile of atleast 80k+ of sugar beet and yet on the storage sreen in-game it says i have none? Surely this indicates they have a designated dumping zone no? Only place i know of is the train transfer yard but that storage is limited to 100k i think and if thats the case its no good to me. Also the pallet packing system ive heard is buggy as ♥♥♥♥ and doesnt work correctly. Any help would be great

I read on this forum someone said they are supposed to be in dumped on the ground(just like potatoes, and then you just load them with a front loader

Thats what im doin currently but the game doesnt tell me how many beets i have. I would like to think that giants put the feature of telling me how much crop i have stored for a reason

There is no place to dump potatoes or sugar beats, Giants was just lazy when they programmed it. There are mods that will register the dumped crops, but in vanilla game there is not. not on modhub either.

There was a designated spot in 15 but with the dume anywhere feature of 17 there is not designated spot for them and they will not show up on the crop page. You just have to keep track of it yourself.

Pallet packing for potatoes and beets works perfectly fine for me.
Should not be so fast to take 'what ya hear' as fact....there is ALOT of opperator error going on.
ALWAYS test things for yourself. Make a test game so it does not muck up the save your actually playing.

Plenty of mods out there if you don't like dumping them on the ground or making pallets.

Also how do you sell beet/potato pallets
durango39 Dec 10, 2016 @ 2:11pm
The best way of selling root crops is by the trailer load ,if you store them in piles just use a bucket and loader to fill your trailers and tip them at the sale point of choice

Some of us sell straight away once there harvested as it saves having to make piles ect

The problem with pallets is their collision goes screwy when trying to stack them on a trailer. It can be quite the nightmare. Even the trailer straps won't hold them on and they tend to "slide" off if they sit for a while even if nothing is touching them.

They can even cause the trailer itself to move through these phantom forces, which makes selling them difficult because the trailer slides off the sell point and the price drops before you've sold them all.

If it weren't for these strange phantom forces, they would definitely be the best way to sell them as you can carry more than your typical tipper.

If you have a big pile or fields full of crop always check the prices before tipping

Usually you just alternate the selling point after each trailer load you tip to get the best prices and that way you can sell it all for good money

I installed this mod just last night. It was nice to unload sugar beets in that storage area and finally see them show on the inventory list for the first time.

Or you can store them in the Railway silos.

Just saying...

For one thing, the Rail storage costs to use (every night) for the second thing, THEY DO NOT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SHOW UP IN THE ESC menu.

Please learn to read what the OP wants before you open your mouth.
