Mining Maps?

Hey guys,

So I recently made the switch to PC from XB1 for FS17. As of now I’m just running it on low quality on my laptop, but I’m looking into upgrading to a mid level gaming PC.

The obvious attractant was the multitude of Mods offered on PC, as opposed to XB1.

The main thing that caught my eye was the mining and construction economy map, as it’s something completely different from farming. I’ve browsed around looking for more information or maybe even sub-threads or communities based around the mining/construction concept, no luck so far and haven’t really even found so much as a solid tutorial.

So to my questions. Are there other mining/construction maps worth downloading, and perhaps any accessory mods I should download to go with them?

& while I’m here, any friendly tips regarding “must have” mods, and things to avoid generally pertaining to the game would be much appreciated as well. It’s a whole new world from the XB1 counterpart.
