Thanks for your interest and Happy Farming!
Possible opening soon for a very specifc player type. If this position opens I will update the original post.
We are looking for one very motivated individual who is not as interested in a huge bank account as they are in helping out around the valley.
This position is for a Logistics Manager assistant. Duties include, but are not limited to;
There is no salary associated with this position, you will receive a small amount of capital to help you in your daily activities. You will not be allowed to sell anything for profit. This is a slot for an individual who has a strong sense of "community" and desire to help the economy throughout the valley.
You will have a chance to move into a Farm should any existing Farmers move on. There may be other positions created in the future which you would qualify for.
See original post for other requirements.
We look forward to seeing you in Pleasant Valley!
I would love to join details please
This is why I specify North American players. Apologies, I did not look at your profile earlier.

The largest issue with multiplayer is the way the base game calculates expenditures. As you may know it really only sees one bank/wallet. (This is changing in FS19). With mods it is possible to mitigate this issue to a degree. However, ongoing daily expenses, animal upkeep costs, ai helper fees, water fees, vehicle/tool maintenance fees, etc., are all still pulled from everyone logged in. Or only from the admin account when no one else is logged in. This means we players are not actually paying the same amount we would in single player on a hourly basis.
This has always bothered me. The "early game" is the most interesting to me. When the equipment you own needs upgrading, fields to purchase, equipment to add to your fleet and yet your wallet is lite. During this stage, the numerous, yet small daily fees are a hindrance and must be taken into account in single player. This is what I am attempting to recreate with my set of fluid rules.
We are currently on day 21 and I am still having to count every penny. Now, adding to the apprehension/suspense is the factories which have not even come online yet. There will be a server wide bidding war for control of each factory. This is also a major consideration for farmers when they are thinking about spending a large sum of money. Do I upgrade to the larger tractor, this current one struggles with both a mower and loading wagon. I have the money, but what if I spend it and a factory comes up for bid that I want?
The need to weigh every decision regarding money carefully. The tactical and strategic thinking when playing with/against humans, yes, even in a farming game. These are the things which make the game interesting to me.
I do wish to type again, due to the many scripts/processes running on this map, I prefer North American players. Historically, no matter how good you think your connection is, if you connect from overseas there are issues.
Good news for one of our roving helpers. He has now moved into the vacant farm and started his path to a farming empire.
