Quick download for mods from servers

I'm looking for a server to play on with some interesting mods but ofc you have to hunt down all the mods in the correct versions and what not just to even get on and see if that server is a place you'll want to stay. Most of the time I cant even FIND all the mods. Is there a faster way to get all the mods that I'm just unaware of?

When you are looking at the server there should be a download for the mods you are missing to download them from the server.

A server admin should be able to give you a link to all the mods on their server. You should be able to clink one button and get every mod.

Yea when in the Details screen of a server that lists all the mods I hit "Download Mods/Dlcs" but most of the time the window that pops up doesnt have all the mods listed.

That seems very odd. For example, on my server, this is the mod download page. Every mod on the server is there and may be downloaded individually or all at once by clicking on the "Download all active mods" folder, bottom right.

Yea most servers I click download mods brings me to a page thats only like 3 or 4 mods sometimes even though theres sometimes over 10 mods.

I am not sure what else to type. Every server I have ever played on had every mod listed on the download link. I am at a loss why you are having this issue.

Yea I see 34 mods but this is a different page then what I get when I click download mods. I get what looks like this.

That interface looks different than for my server. One can download every mod with one click via my link. I am not sure what that is you linked. Is that the actual download link for a server you are trying to join?

That might be a modhub download list, not the server link?

In the server list I click a server and hit details, thats where it shows all the mods then I hit "Download Mods/dlc" and that page is what I get on every server Ive clicked on so far. sometimes it has all the mods, sometimes it doesnt. But every time I haveto click on each indevidual mod and download them.

Oh, you are using the in game server matching. I understand. What I am listing is a dedicated server list. The in game server choices are limited to only Giants Modhub for legal and branding reasons. That means all mods that host is using which came from sites other than modhub must be manually downloaded from thise individual sites.

Your best bet is trying to contact the host and ask for a complete list from the server.

would it be better to google dedicated fs17 servers like one would do when searching for say a minecraft server?

I do not use google, but I would think all that will get you are hosting companies. I still think your best bet is to contact the host of whichever game you want to join.

Thats a big hastle I think cause then you gotta wait for a reply and yadda yadda. If I just wanna server hop till I find one I really like I dont wanna have to wait for all that. anyway, I'll figure it out. Thanks a lot for your help. At least I know now trying to do it straight from in game is the worst way lol.
