THE VALLEY THE OLD FARM V1.0.0.1 open fence ?

For the life of me I can not get the fence to go down in th newest version. I can not find the right key board combo. I have checked the modsec and just stumped. I know when I get the answer it will be so easy. Any one else having this problem?

Are you talking about the fences around the medows? If so there is a button near the enterance to the field that you right click and should get rid of them. There is also a fence in the hay loft that has the same button to interact with to lower them.

Yes I did try F1 and it has a line and says press to open gate, but again there is assigned button to press. I also checked the the assignments section for any buttons that my have had an missing 110 in xml, to help. I looked in the modsec and I think there may be a missing assignment line, but just not sure.
Yes, I did stand in front of the botton at the entrance to the meadow , and I tried just about any and all combinations of buttons.

I've done a quick check. Its left click for me to remove fences/hedges. Are you using a controller? If so this would have been good infomation to know to start with

No controller, and left or right click with mouse will not work. I redown loaded the map and tried again, still no luck. I am on a pc, for information.

Can you open the doors on the sheds?

Yes every other thing doors, gate, tv all work fine. I just can not press any button for the fences. This is driving me mad. I will keep working on it, just looks like I am the only one this is happening to. I have also down loaded the map from 3 sites, hoping that it was just a dl error. No luck.

The trigger for the fence works the same as the doors,tv and gate. If you couldnt do one, you would have problems with the others.

So, a number of thing could be happening

1) you're taking people for a ride. not likey but possible

2) you're not interacting with the trigger correctly

3) a mod is causing the issue

So people could get some idea of whats going, can you post a screenshot of infront of the trigger with the F1 help box open?

It seems you dont have a button assigned, so you would need to go into your controlls and see if you can fix it there. Beyond that I dont know what else to suggest

Ok I thought that was or might be the answer, but there is no place in the button assignments for the fence. I have gone through and the button controls and there is no place to assign a button for the fence up or down.

sometimes other mods can re-assign the controls. also when mods are removed the controls remain.

you could try renaming inputbinding.xml then start the game.
it will make a new default inputbinding.xml with only controls for your current mods.

it may or may not help you out.
