cant find downloaded mods

I have downloaded mods from modhub and transferd it properly (it is a zip folder that I transfer) it shows up in my mod folder under FS17 but when I log into the game, even after restarting it, it doesnt show up in the game? Any help would be great!

Since your mods are in your \mods folder, they should show up in game. When you open your save, there should be a list of mods. Newly installed mods may not be checked off, you may have to click on them to enable them.

If you downloaded them from the modhub in the game then you don't need to do anything with them.

If you downloaded them from a mod site there are a couple of things to look for.

1) Make sure the mod is for FS17 not FS15

2)Some mod authors place multiple mods in the one zip file. You need to extract the individual mods out of the zip file.

3) The name of the zip file CANNOT contain any spaces in the name.
(Eg "FS17 Combine Harvester.zip" will not show up in game. You need to remove spaces in the title to "FS17CombineHarvester.zip" or "FS17_Combine_Harvester.zip")

4) The mod is corrupted or not formatted properly. This is rare but it does happen.

Their mod site is called modhub both ingame and on their website..
So my guess is he downloaded it from the website and didnt enable them when he continued on his savegame..

That was the first step I mentioned in post #1.

did you put the mods in the currect directory. dy defualt it is pc/documents/mygames/farming simulator 17/mods.
