Map for beginner

I just bought the game. Still don't own the platinum expansion. I wanted to know a map that would be good for a new player that is trying to learn the game and get used to it. Thanks in advance.

The map that comes with the base game "Goldcrest Valley" is a really good beginner map.

I forgot to mntion that I noticed you start with more fields and for some reason I feel I don't like that. I will try to go with it but I hope to get more maps recommendations.

Thing is, the map suggested that the game comes with is a very good beginner map. Several mod maps have extra features and are recommened that you have a few hours playing vanilla before starting those maps.

For a new player, I would agree with Procobator's recommendation.

As far as starting with fields, in general you normally start with 3-4 small fields near your farm, perhaps with a few exception mod maps.
