the FS17 folder should be in your games folder/.

Impressive 20 seconds to find the wrong answer ;-) because the video shows where Steam installs the program and not where FS17 mods should be installed.

Sorry, I don't own a Mac either. OP I assume you have already tried this path?

/Library/Application Support/FarmingSimulator2017/mods

If that wasn't the correct path, what I would do, is manually download one of the self-installing kind of mods from farming-simulator.com, install the mod by running it and then search for where it was installed.

More detail here.

Mac OS X (DVD/direct download/Steam):

Code: Select all
/Users/<your username>/Library/Application Support/FarmingSimulator20<version>

(Note: on Mac OS X the 'Library' folder in your home folder is hidden by default. Please have a look at http://www.macworld.com/article/2057221 ... ricks.html for instructions on how to make it visible, snip).

I'm not a Mac user but Don, a moderator on the Giants forum is. You can find anything Mac related over there.

I would be REALLY interested to find the correct answer to this question. Note, OP asked for the Steam Version of FS17. When you have the Steam Version of FS17 there is no FS17 folder under ~/Library/Application Support, the Library Folder is also not under the Username anymore but in ~/Library (in MacOS X Sierra 10.12.5). The Steam Version installs under ~/Username/Applications and you can view the Contents by right clicking and chosing "Show Package Contents". However, there is no Mods folder either, and I don't believe that the Mods would be going there anyway. In this scenario the only way to install Mods is by using the ModHub in-game, but there is no way to install external Mods from other Mod Websites. It would be great if someone would have a short guide to either create a Mod folder in the right location or clear up whether in this case we would be limited to the in-game Mod- Hub. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Found it! For the Steam version of FS17 on Windows 10, the folder that the game saves mods to is located in Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator2017 > mods

if youre still searching i found it.

got to steam library and click farming sim and browse local data when your in that folder click right click on the folder name on the top then go to application support. and there you find the farming sim folder with the mod folder in it.

somehow its a complete different application folder than going over the computer itself...
