auto combine

would someone please convert this mod? it was one of my favorites from 15.

I read somewhere that Autocombine can't be converted for 17, something about how the game does something differently that AC needed to work.

I'm sure someone will eventually get it converted. But the way the AI works right now, it would probably be entirely unpredictable and would need constant fixing.

The beta Courseplay does everything i need it to do for now, so i'm sticking with that.

I will add my twice cents I sure do miss autocombine. I would really like to thank all the mod authors in fs15 and fs17 for all there hard work.

Its the way the AI turns in 17 that makes autocombine and autotractor difficult to convert. If you think about it, at times your tractor or combine will back up from the edge of the field if it detects there is something in the way at the end.

yeah, tell me about it. they make such huge turns they end up in the woods or stuck on a rock. plz plz plz make autocombine work

I would love to see an Auto Combine mod for FS 17. Its probably the most helpfull mod that I ever downloaded. Makes a grain farmers life a breeze. Follow me does not quite cut it for harvesting the way I farm.

Try using courseplay, it's the next best alternative to auto combine currently available for FS17. You just need to use the fieldwork mode and it will auto calculate field edges and you can set headlands etc. Check out vids on youtube for tutorials.

But yes, I agree Auto Combine was one of the best mods for FS15 due to its ease of use and reliability.
