there is no sleep function integrated in the basegame.
if you really don't want to work at night, you can take a walk while you fastforward.
but on base illumination the night isn't that dark that you can't work further.
From my experiences IRL where I come from if you worked all night in the fields you then spent the whole next day fixing tires and axle spindles. Needless to say we only farmed at night when absolutely necessary.
Just press the I (i) key and select the multiplier (from 0 to 20) to set from game speed 120 to 2400.
At 9:00pm it will automatically speed up to your preferred speed and stop again at 6:00am.
The mod also has a few other features that are useful :)
