Updating To Seasons Help "Seasons Mask"

Has anyone updated a map to seasons recently.. Long story short i have done exactly at whatever the manual has given me to update the map with.. The promblem is the map is wanting a .png file but the seasons people give a .dds file and im at a loss at where to go with it. As a side note i have re coded it to tell the code to find a .gdm .dds .png etc. Anyone with knowledge on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

just type in what it says and it will work out okay. don't re-code anything.

I have done that left everything at was said to do. It still comes up stating that it cant open the .png file

in all reality all they gave you was a .dds file..

okay, i just went and looked at their site and they have changed it a little. one does not have to switch the dds on and off, but one has to make one's own snow mask from the tipcol.gdm.

you will need to go here: https://gdn.giants-software.com/downloads.php

and download GRLE Converter v7.0.1 to convert it to a png file.

or one can make one's own seasons_density.png.

create an 8bit greyscale image 2048x2048. paint it black (100%) and save it to the map01 directory.
