G29 with Saitek side panel.....
This has probably been asked a thousand times but help me if you can. I cant use FS 2017 with both the G29 and Saitek side panel together. If I plugin Saitek alone it works fine.....if I plugin the G29 alone it works fine. How the hell do you get it too work with both plugged in, Im pulling my hair out here and I havent got much of that too spare.....lol. Have I wasted £130???? on the Saitek, or am I missing something simple. Im using that x64 thingy to get the G29 recognised but that then wants to setup everything as a xbox controller and prevents the Saitek side panel from working.

Can you remap the buttons manually?

Actually I got this sorted now and it was something simple.....I did not rrealise that Logitech had now included the "Combine Pedals" function within the gaming software. As soon as I enabled that and done away with the xbox emulator......everything worked as expected. Saitek side panel and G29 now playing nicely together.

Tallmike I tried to find the ''Combined Pedals'' function but I can't find it.

Its in the logitech software
For me the solution was to plug the saitek control panel into a 2.0 usb port instead of a 3.0.
I had both (G29 and saitek) plugged into a 3.0 usb port.
So now it works.

To make it easy:

- G29 in a 3.0 usb port.
- Saitek control panel in a 2.0 usb port.
And no activating of combined pedals needed. But maybe try if it still won't work after the solution above.

Don't forget to do the following:

Start up farming simulator 2017
Go to options.
Go to the second tab (controls).
Then scroll down to accelerate, brake and steer right/steer left.
Those 3 keys you need to bind manually.
Go to the gamepad column.
And then double click, hit the gas.
Double click hit the brake.
Double click steer right and left.

From there you could bind every key to your own preferences.
